Dentist & Drains

Well, tomorrow's my big day at the dentist. I'm expecting to have to get a crown and not too much looking forward to it. But, I will be a big girl and go. My broken tooth never did start hurting to speak of. I'm glad I made it til insurance would cover it. I just hope there isn't some hidden catch. Seems like there always is.

My husband and I both lose lots of hair down our tub and so we're always showering in about 5 inches of water. Draino wasn't working at all anymore and I'd given up hope. Then, at Target, I found this. It's a plastic stick with teeth you shove down the drain and pull out with all the hair caught on the teeth. It worked a million times better than any chemical but obviously doesn't use chemicals. I'm so happy that our shower drains now with no problems. I sound like a commercial. Sorry. I just want to pimp this earth-friendly product.

Best wishes on your D-day (Dentist appointment).

We have found that pulling the drain stopper and using a bent metal hanger works good too. Gets really far down the drain to get to the really good stuff (Ewww...) I had no idea they have invented something for the dirty job. Go Target! Target rules.
