JAMES!

Okay... I've re-discovered the magic that is James. Laid is one of the most perfect albums ever made. It's crazy how listening to it puts me right back in college hanging out with Stacey and Matthew. I also came across my Harry Chapin cd and that really made me cry. Most of the songs are quite melancholy, if not sad, and I think the last time I listened to it was right after Annette died. That was brilliant. Chris Barron said it best when he talked about music touching your soul and different kinds touch different places. Ain't that the truth. I can't believe those college days, the most memorable, were 10 years ago. My last year of college is a blur of a little bit of class and a whole lot of the evil internet addiction. At least something good came of it. The other perfect albums, Wildflowers and Automatic for the People also hearken from those same college years. I'm not in touch with anyone from those days any more. I'm not in touch with much of anyone any more.

I've just spent way too much time playing around online here at work tonight. I found out something wild and crazy. Li'l Timmy "James" Booth was in Batman Begins! There he is all grown up. I miss his curls.
