So, how ya been?

It's been a while since I've written anything here except for "Check out this amazing video that you definitely won't care about unless you're me!" I've been trying to stay positive with my employment situation. I don't know if it feels better hearing that February's job losses were through the roof. At least I'm not alone. But then I'm also not alone in looking for work.

I had a groovy treat Friday night. Blah and I went to a fancy show DOWNTOWN. Now, you have to keep in mind that we're total homebodies and for us to go anywhere more exciting than, say Borders, is a real anomaly. But, some friends of ours had extry tickets to Hello Dolly so we all went. That makes twice in one week I was downtown. I went their Wednesday for an interview. It was a good show, but I was oh so disappointed I couldn't get my Rolo's and paper cup of semi-flat/warm Coke as I do at the Civic. But we enjoyed a $3 can of Coke and a $3 bag of potato chips. That's how you know you're in the big city. It was great fun.

For your enjoyment, here's a link to my guest post on her happiness blog. It's about About a Boy, and if you haven't seen it yet, do so now, if only for the scene in Regents Park, my favorite place in London. :)
