My brother just called me to congratulate me on my new job. And I just gotta say, I have the most awesome brother ever. Anyone that knows him knows what I'm talking about. He's the most fun-loving and interesting person I know. Even though he lives far away, we've been talking a fair amount the last few months thanks to the beauty that is the Google chat. I've really enjoyed it. He's a pretty busy fellow and hard to catch on the phone, so that's been our main communication for some time. It's been especially nice the last month or so that I've been off work. Being stuck home without a car and only time to think about how crappy being unemployed is can really make a person feel down and isolated. But pretty soon he'll be back out to sea and I suppose we won't talk much again. That, and I start work on Monday so I reckon I won't be fixed on the IM anymore. C'est la vie, no?
