My parents are awesome enough to fly Blaine & me home for a few days as our birthday presents. Now, I'm excited as all get-out and don't want to seem ungrateful, but the only thing I asked for was Smints. I guess I'll have to get them myself in July when I come/go up there. I'll bring/take them back to Tejas with me. So yeah, if you're from the great state of MI, be on the lookout for me on Bastille Day. Dad always makes a big deal about it. This is our typical Bastille Day feast: French fries, French bread, and French dressing. He also has us watch some Francois Truffaut, usually Day for Night. We wrap up the festivites by all dressing up as Marcel Marceau and performing for the neighborhood. If you haven't been to our house for Bastille Day, you really should. I couldn't miss it this year.
Pay no attention to the woman behind the blog. She's insane. But she really is going to Michigan!
