I am such a dork and proud of it!

At work yesterday I had C-Span playing in the background and was waiting for this to happen. I got so giddy and excited as he started reading charge after charge and as various votes took place. It was a real education in how these things happen. I must admit I don't have a good handle on exactly how congress works.

Sadly, these charges were brushed aside as quickly as possible. But as I listened to Kucinich and others read charges ad nauseum, it made me realize that anyone who dismissed these articles is aiding in these war crimes. If they could impeach Clinton for lying about such trivial "matters", how much more does Cheney deserve it for leading us into this war unjustly, sending our young men and women to die, not to mention all the innocent Iraqis.
